Sick day...

Thursday

Today… I didn’t go for class, you see, Rp students are allowed to skip one day from each module so I decided to take it for today. I was so shagged from yesterday’s stuff that I woke up sick with a fever and headache. My sayang was so sweet… she messaged me this “ You are ma sunshine, ma only sunshine.. You make me happy wen im down.. You never notice how much I LOVE YOU so pls dun take ma sunshine away! :D Good morning syg! :-* Come I give you a kiss.. :-* confirm your fever will run away! I went to the clinic and then went to the school library to meet warren. And I tell you this bugger was busy creating a video to shoot the people he knew. Go see it on facebook. It’s called, Elijah and friends. HAHAHA! I was the first person to understand that work of art. LOL. Anw, after that, I played CS with azhar. I haven’t played CS since … the end of sem 1. Haha. Miss my last sem class which was like awesome! Haha.

After that I went for my rehearsals and then went home cause my sayang wanted me to go home and rest. :D

Draining Wednesday

Wednesday

Wednesday was a super tiring day. Came to school late… as usual. The teams for the groups were changed. I kinda like my new group. But the weird thing is, I’m the only guy in it so I get bullied to do the work. Hahahaha, but it’s cognitive, so no problem.

Sayang didn’t come today but I webcammed with her while she was at woodlands library together with Aisyah. At first the webcams didn’t wanna work, super irritating but after that it worked, I think it got scared of my saying cause she was getting pissed at the webcam. LOL. Then we did a couple of stuff… My favourite was the time she wanted the both of us to count 1-10 with our fingers, during this time, it was presentation time. Another team was presenting and the facilitator was beside me. Imagine the looks I got. Hahaha! But then she texted me the meaning of what the counting was for and it was super sweet!

Our presentation today was funny, the topic was discoveries by chance, like Archemedes (I forgot how to spell his name). All I know is that he wanted to take a bath and he found out that Density=Mass/volume. And when he found that out, he rushed out of his house and told his three friends about his findings without any clothes on. Haha. But my group did the discovery on Viagra which was a pill intended to help men with their chest pains but then it caused them to erect so BAM! Viagra was born.

I had rehearsal at practice room 3B with Replug. And it’s super tiring… I have three bands for the Monday performance. Plus, I’m thinking about the power metal band chords and beats and the new band with khim cheng and alex. Really hectic… but I know I can push through (:

Almost Christmas...

Here are some photo’s of khim. haha, I thought what she wore would suit the title for this post today. Anyway, these photo’s were taken today @ Bugis Starbucks. We met up with Warren, Mal, Fifi and Ben to settle some band stuff. And yes, those are my specs that khim is wearing. Lol.

Today was kind of a blur day. A lot is going through my mind & loads of things are happening. Which is good. Stuff like, Replug, my new bands outside. It will really push and challenge me as a musician and a student. Lets go bro! haha

After meeting @ starbucks, we walked to the War Memorial. Lepaked there. Then went home with Khim and Fifi.

Tomorrow we’re having a meeting with uncle tony to discuss some stuff. I think i need bass effects for the band. I’ma look for one. I’m sleepy… need to get some shut eye.. night tumblr’s.

Rest time.

Finally it’s rest time. After Reflections Arts Festival and Replug Live @ The Red Carpet is finished, it’s time for me to catch up on my sleep and to lose this tummy of mine that i gained cause of everything that’s been happening haha.

Well, I’ve been alright so far. I’ve found my motivation to come to school ;) haha. Am currently trying to catch up with all my friends from MPSS and RP… hmm, maybe i should invite all of them to my house at one go hmm.. i’ll think about it. haha. Well, Currently I’m in the midst of recording a song that i composed, Entitled “smile”. Today I settled the guitar and solo parts. I was supposed to do the Vocals too but i cant seem to find the mic… so yeah, i’ll ask my mum tomorrow… I’m trying my best to compress the vid i recorded for her to brighten up her day and upload it to Facebook but it’s taking so long.. I’m looking for a job this holidays… hope i can find one.

Right now, Fifi (Piano), Iqmal (Guitar), Warren(Vocals/Guitar), Ben (Drums) and Me (Bass) are forming a power metal band and plan to get ourselves known in Singapore. Were gonna be managed by this guy named Uncle Tony. Looking forward to working with these great musicians! haha.

I miss you, yes you. Thanks for being the sweetest to me sayang (: I’ll see you on monday (:

Live @ The Red Carpet

Wow, alot has happened since my last post. Rehearsal’s which lasted till 10, busking sessions at ArtBites Cafe, Meetings & of course, Live @ The Red Carpet. Here are some pictures, all pictures will be released by TRCC after the closing bash.

Concert Day 1

On the first day of the concert I was… late for school as usual, came at around… 9am instead of 8:30am which is the reporting time. After school, I went straight to TRCC Studio Dressing Room to change and have my hair and make up done. Thanks to Danny and Sha for my hair and make up! hahaha :)

Soundcheck for each band was done. The sound was great. After soundcheck we all gathered at the seats and then we were given instructions before we went on standby at the backstage. When the stage manager gave us the signal (the first band) to go up, my heart literally skipped a beat. I went out, and people started cheering! I was quite happy for that (: shouts of RAFFY! PINOY! it made me smile but i know i had to focus on my riffs. The song was awesome! oh btw, we played Jailhouse Rock by Elvis but we made it our own, it’s much funkier and of course, nicer… hahaha.

Second song I played for was About You Now, by the Sugababes. Fit was the vocalist (:  Went fine as well (:

After the concert, we went out to the foyer to meet up with friends and family. Took pictures and then went back in for a debrief.

After that, went to meet parents at Causeway Point then went home. Super Tired.

Day 2

Wasn’t as good as day 1. Sound system was failing on us. Too lazy to elaborate.

Reflections Opening Launch!

These few days have been really hectic and tiring, I’m always not in for first meeting and for this whole week, I haven’t been getting enough sleep cause of Reflections Rehearsals but IT’S WORTH IT! :) It’s super worth it, being there with friends who are like family now and doing what we love together, putting together a concert a show it’s just awesome (:

Last night I went home with Kak Shah, Fifi and Ahling Khim and some of our Beats Encore friends. There was this Matrep who shouted something then everyone was like,”okay….” Kak Shah thought he was high, but I’d prefer to think that he was just being a Mat :P

Stacey was there for the rehearsals, wasn’t affected that much haha. But Warren, Fifi & Iqmal kept calling me a lucky @$!@#$ for… ye know… to those who know about the 2-3 weeks (: hahaha (:

Saturday

Woke up late because i slept at like 4am. haha, then i was supposed to meet the replugeeeosssss at Causeway point @ Mac’s at 8am. Ended up being there at 830am :P Anyway’s we bussed there instead of walking cause it started to rain. We were late but the producers were okay since the studio doors were locked so there was no way that we could’ve gone in anyway. On the way to trcc, outside OSC, there was this newly wedded couple and we took a pic with them. We jumped up behind them and their photographer took shots! haha, cool cool.

People came in at around… 11am. Well some of them so they got screwed by the producers. hehe, Guys next time, use an alarm clock.

After the preview, we went to buy some drinks then lepaked at the void deck. Thats when the party started. hehe, best one’s were Khim and Shah. Highlights of the night. Along with Alex the giant talking and climbing the tree drunk. hahaha! i slapped him hard. nehehehe.

Friday

Friday was setting up the studio and getting all the instruments checked and sound checking was done as well. Was quite tired after that. took some other pics too, but… cant upload here, cause… kids are viewing this blog as well. LOL. And oh, the other two pics that you see, the drums and the one where some girls are trying to grope my privates were taken on another day when we stayed to watch the practice for the opening launch.

Wednesday

Had rehearsal with Kak Shah and Sly before going to Idol night. Kylee gave me some jellies from Perth! (: Ate them at the Practice Room 3B. weeeee…… Took loads of pics like this. We looked really retarded so i wont post all. LOL.
